How to play
The idea
Every day, 7 questions with a number for an answer. For each one, a counter shoots up toward the answer.
Stop it as close to the answer as you can, but don’t go over. Go over and you BUST: 0 points.
The brake
First tap (or the space bar): the counter slows way down. Second tap: it stops.
Brake too early and the counter crawls. Brake too late and you’re going bust.
Scoring
CLOSE SHAVE (98% to 100% of the answer): 150 points. Exactly on the answer: SPOT ON, same score.
Below that: 100 × (your stop ÷ answer)², so 81 points at 90%, 25 points at 50%.
Over the answer: BUST, 0 points.
One shot
You only get one try at each question. If you reload the page while the counter is running, the question just starts over.
